2008 Audition Information

Now Accepting

Headshot/resume submissions for boys ages 8-15 for the December production of THE MUSIC MAN.  Please mail headshot/resume to Light Opera Works, Attn: Music Man Casting, 927 Noyes St., Suite 225, Evanston, IL 60201.  Electronic submissions will also be accepted at paige@light-opera-works.org.  No phone calls.           

An audition will be held at a later date by invitation only.  Performers will be asked to sing from the Broadway repertoire and will be asked to dance at this audition.  Performers MUST be available for all performance dates. 

General Auditions

General auditions for the 2008 season were held in February.  Callbacks and casting occur throughout the year.  Click HERE if you would like to be notified of general auditions for the 2009 season.

Light Opera Works is a professional musical theater company, casting primarily Chicago area talent. All principal and ensemble performers are paid, with a limited number of Actors’ Equity members engaged on guest artist contracts.
